    MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
  • Led the start-up operations of a human resource consulting company by setting up administrative and marketing systems.
  • Led the Philippine affiliate of Levi Strauss Asia Pacific in the implementation of projects that aimed to improve customer service through process improvements in product development, customer relations and the supply chain.
  • Developed and conducted training and communication programs for employees in ten affiliates in Levi Strauss Asia Pacific. In the countries where I conducted the training, the program was well-received and was successful in providing the affiliate with the necessary information to enhance their business processes.
  • Introduced to Levi's Philippines and Asia Pacific the SPS or Sales Productivity System ,which is a computerized tool to help customer teams manage information regarding key customers.
  • Developed and implemented a process to be used by Levi's Philippines' Account Review Board in assessing the potential of new sites and for reviewing the competencies of new dealers.
  • Organized the pilot of a new store design concept, called Concept 3 OLS (Original Levi's Store). The job included the supervision of store construction for the Mega Mall branch. As a result of this pilot project, all Far East Levi's affiliates followed suit in launching the concept in their local markets.
  • Opened at least 12 Levi's outlets in Metro Manila, Cebu, Laguna, Quezon Province and La Union.
  • When Levi's Philippines shifted from a traditional function-based team to a customer-based team, I was selected to be the team leader of the OLS Team. In this role, I led a cross-functional team, which provided total and personalized service to Levi's Philippines' most premium accounts. As a result of our team's efforts, dealer relations were greatly improved.
  • Led a task force to improve point-of-sale systems in OLS's and won a Koshland Award (LS&Co's) highest award) for these efforts.
  • Developed and launched two successful product lines for Levi Strauss Far East. One line is Silver Tab, a premium, fashion-forward jeans line targeted towards leading edge pre-teen and teen markets. In several markets in the Far East, this line exceeded its sales targets. The other line is a basic, more price-competitive jeans line catering to a more mainstream, value-conscious consumer. This line was successful in reaching out to a wider market for Levi's in the Far East and also exceeded its sales targets.
